Kryton repair, restoration and waterproofing project in Charlotte, NC. Our Kryton products T1 & T2 along with KIM, Plasti-Patch, Bari-Cote, Waterstop Grout, and Krystol Plug are being applied to help alleviate the water issues on this project.
Below are details of some the areas being repaired.

Step 1 - Grind down any pre-existing waterproof membrane.

Step 2 - Clean any lose or damaged concrete from the area.

Step 3 - Chase any existing cracking. Expanding these areas to create a 1" wide x 1-1/2" depth. This will ensure a proper repair.

Step 4 - Prep surface by power washing and cleaning away any debris.

Step 5 - Krystol Plug is mixed to form putty-like consistency and then packed into the expanded cracks. This is to stop the flow of water.

Step 6 - Next T-1 is mixed to form a putty-like consistency and will then be applied. This will cause the crystals to form at greater depth.

Step 7 - Then a fast setting layer of Bari-Cote is applied to help  fill-in the chase, level and strengthen the area.

Step 8 - Finally, a surry coat of T-1 and T-2 will be applied on top to help waterproof any minor cracking.

In the case, of picture 3 (above)

instead of using Krystol Plug in (Step 5) the use of Plasti-Patch restoration material is better suited for large areas of missing concrete.

Then proceed with Steps 6-8.
